Manual installation guide

If your mobile device is running a version of the Android operating system prior to Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), please follow the instructions below. There are a few steps that you will have to follow to install this manual version of the Verily Connect app.

STEP 1

On Android devices, installation from sources other than the official Play Store is not allowed by default. These links will be considered to be from an ‘unknown source’. In order to successfully install the app, you must manually allow your Android device to allow the installation.

Open the Settings app on your device. Each Android device and version may be different, so you will either need to navigate to the Security page or Applications page. Find the check box titled Unknown Sources and ensure that this is checked.

STEP 2

Once the Unknown Sources option has been checked, please open the Chrome browser on your mobile device and navigate back to this Manual installation guide page.

STEP 3

Click the Install Verily Connect button at the bottom of these instructions. This will prompt your device to ask you if you want to download the installation file. Click Download.

STEP 4

Open the notifications panel on your device. You will see a notification containing the installation file, called verily.apk. Tap this notification and follow the installation instructions.

STEP 5

Once the Verily Connect app icon shows up on your screen, you can open the app and login with the username and password that were provided to you by the Verily Connect team.
